West Ham and Liverpool Agree Permanent Deal For Carrol

Liverpool have already agreed a fee regarding a perminant deal for striker Andy Carrol with West Ham at the end of the season, sais the club co-owner David Sullivan.

The England international still holds the record for the most payed for an English footballer when he moved to Liverpool from Newcastle two years ago for a staggering £35 million. However his form at Liverpool has by no means reflected this price tag inspiring Liverpool to loan him to West Ham until the end of the season.

Carrol has been cursed with injury during his time at hte Hammers, scoring just one goal in nine Premier League starts and two substitute appearances. David Sullivan admitted that despite reaching an accord with their rivals, they are yet to agree the terms regarding Carrols permanent move, as he still remains hopeful that the 24 year-old may still prove his worth at the club.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline: "I am often asked about Andy Carroll's deal. It is a season-long loan. Liverpool had an option to take him back in January, but he has been injured.

"West Ham have an agreement with Liverpool to sign him at the end of the season, but we have no agreement with the player".

"It was his desire to come to West Ham to prove himself to Liverpool and that hasn't changed".

"He has had injuries since he came, but he is back to fitness now and we have 15 games left... we need some goals and some points, so let's see."
