City's Yelavic Deal Falls Through

Mario Yelavic is hoping that he can complete his move to Manchester City after his previous deal fell through.

The 19 year old Croation talent has been training with City for the past few months and they were hoping that they can sign him on a permanent deal. City were extremely close to securing his signature, but it all fell through when he was unable to obtain a work permit. He has since moved back to his homeland and signed for Slaven Belupo, but remains hopeful that one day he will be able to return to City on a permanent basis.

"Roberto Mancini told me that everything is sorted out, that we have an agreement and that I will stay at City," he told Sportske Novosti."But than it became clear that there will be problems with the work permit. They say that they will keep watching me so I really hope that everything is not dead yet".
