Premier League side Arsenal have been rumoured to be closely watching Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas.
Casillas's future has been brought under questioning after losing his place in the Madrid first team after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho. Madrid are currently trailing 16 points behind rampaging Barcelona meaning that president Florentino Perez will have to make a decision on whether their coach will remain at the club, and if he does, Casillas could be forced to leave.
Madrid based newspaper Marca have reported that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has grown tired of current keeper Wojciech Szczesny and may be hoping to bring more experienced players to the club. A move for Casillas could be made even more possible as Madrid have been targeting Chelsea legend Petr Cech and Manchester United stopped David de Gea.
