West Brom have completed the signing of Uruguayan international Diego Lugano from French giants Paris St Germain.
The centre-half has signed a two year contract with the Premier League outfit after struggling to make an impact during his two years at PSG.
Since his 2011 arrival to the French League from Fenerbahce to the French top division, he has suffered from a mixture of injuries and poor form causing him to be overlooked by former coach Carlo Ancelotti for most of last season. Consequently the 32 year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Malaga and has now been able to secure a permanent exit away from the club.
"I am very pleased to join West Bromwich Albion for the next two years," Lugano wrote on his Twitter account.
