Peter Crouch has admitted that he was tempted when QPR showed interest in him last month however has also added that he has no problem with staying at Stoke.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp has been keen on signing the forward for the fifth time in his career having already managed him at Southampton, Tottenham and in two different spells with Portsmouth. Crouch said that he was flattered regarding the clubs interest, but Stoke rejected the offer and insist that Crouch still remains 100% committed to the Potters.
Speaking about Redknapp, Crouch told Sky Sports News: "Everyone knows that I have got a good relationship with him".
"I think he is a fantastic manager and QPR are a club that are very close to my heart".
"That is where I grew up really and where my family are, but it didn't materialise and I am very happy to be at Stoke."
Meanwhile, Crouch has expressed his positivity regarding his international career saying that it was a misunderstanding which saw Roy Hodgson leaving him off of the Euro 2012 standby list.
"I was part of the England squad for five years and I don't think I missed a squad," said Crouch.
"If I wasn't going to the Euros I didn't think there was much point in me going to the friendly. It wasn't a case of making myself unavailable, it was just a suggestion".
"Of course, playing for my country is the best thing I have ever done and it will remain to be so."
