England manager Roy Hodgson has said that he will be handing left-back Ashley Cole his 100th cap for England when when they take on Brazil on wednesday.
The Chelsea fullback will make a century of appearances for his country when the Three Lions take on Brazil in a much-anticipated friendly at Wembley on Wednesday. The 31 year-old is still seen as one of the best left-backs in the world as he can boast a whole list of cups and honours.
Hodgson admits however that Cole does face stiff competition from Everton's Leighton Baines who has been inform this season, and concedes that he will be faced with tough decisions in the future.
He said: "If Ashley is fit he will play on Wednesday and get his 100th cap".
"But there will come a time when both are fit for an important match and I will have to disappoint one of them".
"They will just have to fight it out and I'm sure the competition between them will be fierce".
"Then I'll have to make a decision".
