It is understood that Stoke City and Queens Park Rangers are in talks over striker Peter Crouch.
The England international still has two and-a-half-years left on his contract with the club having joined them in 2011 from Totenham. QPR manager Harry Redknapp has been a long term admirer of crouch having already managed him at Southampton, Portsmouth and Totenham.
It is believed that Crouch's team-mate Jamie Mackie has been linked with a move in the opposite direction, and that striker DJ Campbell could be another player leaving QPR as he is linked with a move to Hull.
If the deal goes through, Crouch will be the first of a few hopes Harry Redknapp who admits that he must deepen the squad before the transfer window is over.
