Fergie Sais Suarez is "Laden With Controversy"

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has described Luis Suarez as a magnet for negative press ahead of Saturdays Premier League clash.

Suarez refused to shake United defender Patrice Evra's hand in the corresponding game last year following a hefty ban he had been awarded for alleged racism during the match which took place at Anfield in October 2011. Last weekend Suarez was again splashed across all of the back pages following the ball hitting his hand and setting him up for his late winner against Mansfield in the FA Cup.

"I didn't see the Mansfield game, so it is difficult for me to say whether it was deliberate or not", said Ferguson. "But I think the lad is laden with controversy. I don't know if he enjoys it or not."

Liverpool boss Brendon Rodgers has said that he feels extremely confident that Suarez can cope with any abuse thrown at him during the game, saying that if anything it will motivate him to score even more.
