Sturridge To Undergo Liverpool Medical

It is understood that Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge is set to undergo a medical at Liverpool on Sunday.

The 23 year old England International is thought to be preparing for a move to the Reds after slipping down the Chelsea starting order, despite the club only possessing two strikers. Liverpool have been believed to have been watching the forward since the summer as they attempt to strengthen their attacking force with Luis Suarez being there only fit out- and- out striker.

Liverpool have yet to comment on the possible purchase but a deal in the region of £12 million is believed to have been arranged between the clubs. However the club is not able to officially register the transfer until the 2nd January when the transfer window officially opens.
