Rumors suggest that Manchester City's director of football Txiki Begiristain has made a trip to Brazil last week to open talks with Santos over Neymar.
The 20 year-old is reckognised world- wide as one of the worlds greatest young prospects, already having scored 17 goals for Brazil on top of a huge tally for Santos. Despte Barcelona being long term favourites for the Brazilian, Begiristain's trip shows that City are extremely strong and passionate contendors for convincing Neymar to decline Spanish interest and move to England.
It is thought that due to City's overflowing amount of striking talent, Mario Balotelli would be the one to depart to not only make room for the Brazilian, but to help pay for the rumored £32 million offer. However due to current club Santos' powerful situation regarding the player, it is thought that they will seek a much larger price tag especially considering being described as superior to Lionel Messi by footballing legend Pele.
