Manchester police have charged 9 people following incidents which took place during Sundays Manchester derby with saw United score a 90th minute goal to defeat City 3-2.
Despite these arrests, they are yet to charge anyone regarding the coin throwing incident which saw United defender Rio Ferdinand get struck above the eye whilst celebrating Robin van Persie's last minute winner, the incident left the central defender with a bloody gash. Chief Inspector Steve Howard has said "To have just 13 arrests for a crowd of this size and a match of this proportion is a testament to the policing operation we put in place".
