Chelsea have confirmed that Roberto Di Matteo will sign a two year managerial contract to keep him at the club until 2014.
Di Matteo took over at the club as care-taker manager earlier this year after the sacking of former manager Andres Villas Boas. Since coming to the club, he has lead the Blues to both FA Cup and Champions League victory. There has been alot of speculation over whether he would remain at the club but it has seemed that owner Roman Abramovich could not overlook the amount of trophy's he brought to the club so offered him the deal.
