Roy Hodgson Appointed New England Manager

Roy Hodgson has signed a four-year contract as the new England Manager confirmed The Football Association.

Hodgson takes over the role left by Fabio Capello after his resignation following disagreements about John Terry being removed as captain in February.

Despite Totenham's Harry Redknapp being the favourite for the job, The FA approached the 64 year-old on Monday as his contract at Wigan is meant to expire this summer. He will stay with West Brom for their last two games of the season before becoming officially in charge on 14th May.
