Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has confirmed that he will not be signing a new contract with Chelsea at the end of the season.
The future of the forward has been under intense speculation after his amazing performance in the UEFA Champions League Final against Bayern Munich at the weekend. Speculation first arose when a French Report said that he was leaving Chelsea, however his representatives denied this.
However he told the clubs official website today that "I wanted to put an end to the speculation and confirm that I am leaving Chelsea". He also said "It has been a very difficult decision for me to make and I am very proud of what we have achieved but the time is right for a new challenge for me".
