Benfica Show Interest in Fabio

Portuguese giant Benfica have shown their interest in signing Manchester United's Fabio da Silva, his agent has announced.

The 21 year old left back has played for the Devils since 2008 when he moved to the club with his twin brother Rafael. The Brazilian has found it hard to find a place in the first team this season as he has only played 8 league games, whereas his brother has 40 starts under his belt.

Reports suggests that United have been having talks with Benfica on the signing of their star midfielder Nicolas Gaitan. As part of the suggested offer, United will be sending players in the opposite direction and Fabio is believed to be one of them due to Benfica's request.
