Capello Says its All Down to a "Misunderstanding"


Former England Manager Fabio Capello resigned on Wednesday following a meeting with the FA about a disagreement concerning ex-England captain John Terry being stripped of his captaincy due to allegations of racial abuse.

Capello claimed that he resigned due to a "misunderstanding". After Terry's captaincy was stripped of his captaincy, Capello appeared on Italian television saying that he didn't agree with this. The FA didn't agree with the comments made and organised a meeting with the Italian. After which he resigned.
