AC Milan Thrash Arsenal 4-0

AC Milan and Arsenal met on Wednsday night at San Siro in the UEFA Champions League. Arsenal will be returning to England with the weight of a heavy 4-0 defeat.

The Gunners were struggling all match and went behind after a superb volley from Boateng in the 15th minute. Robinho claimed the 2nd from a short range header, and got a second after a precision right-footed drive that screamed past Gunners goalkeeper Wojciech Szszesny.

The fourth and final goal was scored after Johan Djourou gave away a penalty in the 79th minute which was wonderfully converted by Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This is the first time they have been an English club out of the last 7 attempts, the last being knocked out by Totenham at the same stage in the Champions League last year.
