Mourinho, who's Madrid side face United in the Champion League, has been tipped to depart from the Bernabeu this summer after an appalling attempt at defending their La Liga title and amid reports that he has fallen out with several of Madrid's top players.
Mourinho, who's last job in England was as manager of Chelsea, has refused to clarify whether he will remain at Real next season however did admit that he desires a return to the Premier League in the future.
He told reporters: "I will go back to England after Real Madrid. We will see (when that is).
"I love everything (about England). England will be my next step."
Mourinho has been linked with most of Europe's top clubs including Manchester City, but when asked about their rivals United, he joked that he would not be able to take over from current manager Ferguson.
"No" was his reply when asked if he could replace the Scotsman. "I think we have to end our career at the same time. Him at 90 and me at 70."
As for Real Madrid, they are a staggering 16 points behind leaders Barcelona in the top Spanish League, however Mourinho has told critics that he will make up for this by earning the club a record 10 Champions League titles this season.
