Manchester City Target Cavani

Manchester City coach Angelo Grehucci revealed that the club will be trying to sign Uruguayan talent Edison Cavani in the summer.

The Napoli striker has been turning heads all around the world recently after an amazing couple of years at the Italian club. One of the interested parties is Manchester City who confirmed on Wednesday that Cavani would be one of their top transfer targets in the summer.

The skilled frontman has a large release clause in his contract and has also attracted clubs such as Chelsea and Real Madrid- some of the few clubs able to battle with City financially.

Gregucci has, however, told a Naples-based radio station: "City will definitely have competition for Cavani, who is dominating the Italian league with his goals and sacrifices for the team and whose contract has a £55m buy-out clause".

"Edinson is scoring a huge number of goals this season, and it will be difficult for City to take him. The 10 biggest clubs in Europe all have Cavani in their sights."
