Walcott Signs A New Deal With Arsenal

Theo Walcott has agreed a new three-year deal with Arsenal which will keep him at the club until 2016.

The English international was in his last six months of his contract at the club after refusing a five year contract extension worth £75,000 a week in August. However the uncertainty surrounding his future has been put to an end after Arsenal agreed a new deal with their top goal scorer on Thursday.

Manager Arsene Wenger said that he hoped he could resolve the issue before the weekends game against Chelsea, and can finally clear his head of all of the transfer rumours surrounding the in-form striker. This will also come to the great delight of Arsenal fans who have seen stars such as Robben Van Persie, Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas leave the club in recent years so it will be reassuring to see Walcott commit his future.
