It is believed that Manchester United have joined Manchester City and Liverpool in the race to sign Arsenal rebel Theo Walcott.
It is thought that United would be Walcott's first choice if he was to leave Arsenal and manager Sir Alex Ferguson seems very keen on bringing the England international to the club. Contract negotiations between Walcott and Arsenal are believed to have broken down due to a fallout regarding wages and the position which he wishes to play. No negotiations have actually taken place between the two since the forward turned down a contract thought to be worth around £75 thousand a week in August. It is believed that Walcott is looking for around £100,000 a week, a sum which Arsenal are unwilling to pay.
