Chelsea skipper John Terry has been ruled out of the FIFA Club World Cup due to a knee injury.
The former England international has been advised not to take the trip to Japan where the competition is being held, after ligament damage picked up against Liverpool last month. This comes as a massive blow for Chelsea who have won only once in the seven games which they've played without their captain. Despite Terry not joining the club in Japan, it is thought that both Frank Lampard and Daniel Sturridge will both be back from their injuries in time.
