Juventus coach Antonio Conte has dismissed reports that the Serie A champions are close to signing former Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.
A report from the Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper claim that Juventus have made "significant progress" in regards to signing Shanghai Shenhua striker Didier Drogba in January, having reportedly agreed on an 18 month deal. The Ivory Coast international moved to China from Chelsea in the summer on a two and a half year deal, however due to a disappointing start to the season, it is believed to be looking to offer his services elsewhere.
Conte however, has said that Juventus, like as well as almost all other major Italian teams financially couldn't afford to contract the striker,
