French side Monaco have been linked with an expected swoop on Chelsea legend Frank Lampard.
The Ligue 2 leaders are believed to be readying a bid for the English international as they hope to strengthen their side in an attempt to return to the French top league after getting relegated the season before last.
Monaco are believed to be linked along side with LA Galaxy, and Chinese side Guizhou Renhe after new Chelsea boss Rafa Benitez has said that both Lampard and left back Ashley Cole have no place in his plan for the future and expects them to leave in the summer.
