Newcastle manager Yohan Cabaye has been ruled out until February due to an operation he underwent on his groin.
The injury had sidelined the Frenchman since November 11th when he picked it up against West Ham and has had to have an operation on it in Paris. The former Lille player has made 13 appearances for Newcastle this season and has performed admirably since arriving at the club last year. During his absence, Newcastle have been unable to win a game, loosing 2-1 to Swansea, drawing with Maritimo in the Europa League and loosing to Southampton 2-0 on Sunday.
