Newcastle Manager Alan Pardew has been given a 2 match touchline ban and fined £20,000 due to what the Football Association have called "improper conduct" during the sides 2-1 win over Totenham.
The incident took place during Newcastle's home game against Totenham Hotspur after Pardew was sent to the stands for pushing assistant referee Peter Kirkup after he believed that the ball had been ran out of play during one of Totenham's attacks.
The manager apologized for his actions after the game, referring to it as "ridiculous", and accepted the charges handed to him.
