Lambert Becomes New Aston Villa Manager


The Chief Executive of Norwich City, David McNally has confirmed that the club will be searching for a replacement for manager Paul Lambert.

Lambert presented his resignation to the club amid talks with Aston Villa on Thursday however it was rejected. However McNally confirmed on Friday that if the two clubs can confirm compensation during the talks being held, then he will accept Lambert's resignation.

McNally originally said that "We are in a position where we were approached by another club asking for permission to Paul Lambert, we didn't grant permission and made it very clear that we wanted to keep our manager who has been incredibly successful". But recently has admitted, "We are looking for a new manager, that is likely to be what we concentrate on for the next few days, weeks maybe".
