Despite insisting that he is still happy at Portuguese giants Porto, Hulk has admitted that he will look at any offers that come his way and his agent has been quoted saying that this is the right time to move in.
Chelsea FC have been strong fans of the Brazilian talent and showed a massive interest in him during the January transfer window, however Porto said that if anyone wanted to buy him at that point, then they would have to pay a £80 million buyout clause. So with that unrealistically large sum announced, Chelsea quickly lost interest.
It is believed, however that this summer Chelsea will be hoping to re spark their efforts to sign the Brazilian International and there have been rumours that the clubs are close to agreeing a £38 million deal. However with clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona also being long- term admirers of the forward, there is likely to be a bidding war on the horizon.
