Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Frank Lampard will miss Euro 2012's due to a thigh injury.
The midfielder picked up the injury in training on Wednesday and medical tests have shown that the Chelsea skipper will not be able to recover in time to be able to compete in the European tournament which will take place in Poland and Ukraine. This is a second massive blow for England after Gareth Barry was ruled out after a stomach injury.
This means the Liverpool's Jordan Henderson will take Lampards place in the squad, however this means that the England Squad now have very few experienced players .
